*** CLUB STATEMENT ***
Following a meeting with the landowner, the Norwich Viking Motorcycle Club have made the difficult decision to cancel the Dennis Slaughter Motocross due to be held on Sunday 31st July at Cadders Hill, Lyng.
At present, the track is pure dust and with an acute shortage of water, and taking account of the long-range weather forecasts, riders safety, marshals and officials safety and welfare, and with respect to the landowner's wishes and his day-to-day business there really is no alternative.
The club are making arrangements with ACU to refund entry fees in full and will do its best to run the event later in the year.
